Kaoru Vaheisvaran has extensive experience in handling complex disputes in many areas including intellectual property, general civil and inheritance disputes. She provides unique insights on the views of judges and arbitrators, having served as a judge in Japan for over 14 years.
During her time as a judge, Mrs. Vaheisvaran rendered several well-noted judgments, particularly when she served in the intellectual property department of the Tokyo District Court. Also, she dealt with over 300 inheritance cases when she served in the inheritance department of the Tokyo Family Court.
