Reiko Yoshida focuses on domestic and cross-border finance, financial regulation, maritime law, derivatives, asset management, joint ventures, inbound and outbound transactions, restructuring, and general corporate. She has over twenty years of experience in shipping finance and with her experience and knowledge, she provides comprehensive legal support in a wide range of practice areas including non-recourse based overseas project finance such as LNG vessels, lease transactions and domestic transactions. She also handles vessel registration and mortgages on Japanese vessels. As the first Japanese lawyer admitted in the Republic of Marshall Islands, she advises on laws for overseas entities and maritime law and assists in developing financial instruments and project transactions using entities formed in the Marshall Islands and other offshore jurisdictions.
