Ryoko Takeda has been involved in various M&A transactions and business-to-business transactions for many years, including corporate acquisitions in Japan and abroad, business integration deals, capital and business alliances, various intellectual property transactions such as license agreements, distributorship agreements, and compliance with various business laws and consumer protection regulations, and has extensive experience in handling corporate legal matters including corporate governance.
In particular, she works on various national and international preventive legal matters related to the data protection, IT and insurance businesses, as well as legal issues related to new business. In the area of data protection and IT, she provides legal advice on general corporate matters and strategies in various corporate areas, including financial transactions and e-commerce, and drafts a wide range of contracts.
She has extensive experience in consulting on personal information protection laws, not only Japanese personal information protection laws, but also in compliance with data protection laws in other countries through collaboration with overseas law firms.
